(UNSUCCESSFUL)
After lesson on Monday me and my group attempted to film our opening for our film. This was unsuccessful because of the setting were we location the scene to be. We tried using the drama room however instead of looking scary and abandoned it looked like we was doing a play. The setting was not the best so decided not to do the recording because all of us didnt like how it was going. Also we was going to tie up Tony by his hands however we couldnt do so because all the poles on the roof was wobbly and unstable so it would be dangerous to go forward and do it anyways. The main shot was ruined and then we had to change all the other shots because they wasnt flowing properly. At the end we decided not to film in that setting and changed it to a location such as a shed or a garage so its a better setting and looks realistic.

(PARTLY SUCCESSFUL)
The dog in my next-door garden was a distraction, it was quite funny because everyone got scared because the dog was quite big and scary. In addition if we would've filmed when the dog was barking then it would have distracted us because there is irrelevant soundtrack in the background which would've made us re-film that shot when the dog is quite...
However, we got to the point and started filming. It was really successful because everything went well and all the shots was done. The shed was alright but it could've been bigger and had more space but overall the shooting was good and went well. The shed was very dark and used Metjon's Samsung Galaxy S3's camera on his phone which made the place we made the footage more scary and made the location compliment the opening.

(PARTLY SUCCESSFUL)
We filmed the torture scene however, the footage was too short and wouldn't get the group a good grade. The footage we recorded and uploaded on the Adobe premier pro programme wasn't enough and only lasted at least 20-30 seconds which didn't fit the criteria for the openings. Our footage also didn't have a story for the audience to realize themselves. It was almost like characters acting about nothing. We talked to our teacher regarding all the footage and what we could do to make it better. We then sorted everything out by going out as a group with more characters to make more of a story behind the footage however because we was filming the story line for the attack we had to make sure that the footage we was going to record will fit in and smoothly run with the footage we already have.

(SUCCESSFUL)
After the discussion the day before about the short footage we had. We then as a group went out to find the location and then started filming the footage we needed for the attack we already recorded. We then successfully recorded the footage we needed. At the subway, we successfully recorded the footage however the background noise interfered with the footage however, the problem was resolved by the editing and putting the sound a bit low of the specific shot which is an advantage of the Adobe premier pro programme. After recording all the footage, me and Fatima came back after sixth-form and started cutting and pasting the right pieces of the shots which connects to the other shots making it flow and putting it in the timeline on the programme making sure that the footage runs smoothly and also connects to the audience. We tried getting the shots in the correct order and making the shots flow freely within the opening which was successful.

(SUCCESSFUL)
Getting all the footage my group needed for our opening, we tried making the footage flow as smoothly as possible which I personally think was successful.  Then, after when we was satisfied with the footage and how it looked we then started inserting titles that we planned before making the opening movie. There is a credit sequence we followed which is a typical credit sequence for almost all the movies that are shown such as Taken, Mr and Mrs Smith and all the other movies. We also had to choose the font size and actual font type we wanted, there was many different font type however we had to choose the font type that we thought that will fit in and compliment our footage. We then made the credit titles bigger than the names which we thought would look nice and professional on the big screen. We put 120 for the credit titles and the names we left it as 100.

(SUCCESSFUL)
We got feedback from our teacher about how our footage and opening is going and if it looked well presentable. The feedback was good because we edited our footage in a good quality way which is an advantage. We also had to change the credit title size because it went off screen when watching it on the big screen. We took all the feedback on board and tried bettering our opening to the best of our ability. We changed the font size and tried margining the name and credit titles to make the opening look more professional and a well quality opening. After, we then thought about the music and what type of music would compliment and aid our opening to make it better. We got copyright music which were over 20 types of different sound tracks to choose from. We found 2 main soundtracks that we thought as a group would aid our opening and make it improve.

(SUCCESSFUL AND FINISHED)
After correcting the faults in our opening we then put the soundtracks we wanted and decided as a group to choose. We put them on the timeline on the Adobe programme on the timeline that was for the soundtrack. After putting it on, we left it how it is and played the opening from start to the end and realized some of the soundtrack and the dialogue clashed which then we knew we had to reduce some of the volume on specific shots and scenes in the opening. Putting the soundtrack on and making the opening feel more like an opening than a video clip when squeaked everything a bit such as the soundtrack and the positioning of the titles to make the opening flow freely and look well presentable when watching in from start to finish. Using 2 soundtracks we also had to make sure that both soundtracks compliment the footage and also the opening altogether. Successful done and satisfied with the opening, the thriller opening is done and was to the best of our ability.
